Reuben co-founded OpenKit in 2020 and leads its engineering. Ten years of software across web, mobile, XR and AI came first, with the last three spent bringing large language models into production at scale: custom retrieval systems, autonomous agents, real-time assistants. What drives him is measurable return, so he prioritises lean, practical systems that prove results early over bloated specifications that never ship.
His process starts in the workflow, not the model card: understand the work in detail, apply targeted AI where it will have the most impact, and keep the client in the loop while the idea is refined into something grounded and scalable. He is driven as much by solving the business problem as by the technology, so he offers honest guidance on alternative approaches rather than selling the biggest possible build.
His expertise spans large language models, custom retrieval-augmented generation, multimodal applications and AI agents, from voice assistants to research and automation tools, on a strong full-stack and systems-engineering foundation. Deployments are built under the management system ISO 27001 and ISO 9001 certify. Outside work he mentors local students on entrepreneurship and computer science.
