What it costs
Embedded AI Lead engagements start from £5,000 per month excluding VAT. The agreed fee reflects the delivery capacity and engagement requirements. Your proposal sets out what is included and any external costs.
We agree the initial commitment, delivery allocation and renewal arrangements before work begins. Regular progress reviews keep the work aligned with your priorities.
FAQ
How do we decide what you actually work on?
Where an audit has been done, its roadmap is the starting list. Items are sized before they start, so you can see what a piece of work will take out of the allocation.
What happens if our priorities change halfway through?
You reorder the backlog with us. Work that has not started moves down or comes off. Anything already running is either finished or stopped at a sensible point.
Does the retainer include building things?
Yes. Suitable automations, connectors and integrations are delivered inside your agreed total capacity. Additional capacity and major new systems need separate agreement.
Is remote support unlimited?
No. Support sits within the agreed delivery allocation and the support arrangements set out in your proposal.
Does a monthly fee mean we can cancel every month?
Not necessarily. The initial commitment and renewal arrangements are agreed in the proposal. Billing frequency is a separate matter.
Will you complete every item in our roadmap during the initial term?
The roadmap guides priorities. Delivery depends on the agreed capacity, the complexity of each item, its dependencies and the decisions made as work progresses. Any further commitment is written into the agreed scope.
Who leads the engagement on your side?
We agree who leads your engagement and how the work is supported. Where a handover is needed, it is planned with you so the context and documentation carry forward.
Can you work with our existing IT provider?
Yes. We agree how to work alongside your IT provider and who is responsible for the systems involved. Access, integration and support arrangements are set for the engagement.
What does it cost?
From £5,000 a month, set by the delivery allocation you reserve. Your proposal fixes the fee, the initial commitment and the renewal arrangements. Fractional AI leadership is advertised elsewhere at £2,000 to £15,000 a month, depending on days per week. The AI Audit that usually comes first is £10,000.
Is this a fractional chief AI officer?
