It learns you, you do not configure it
Two one-time setups read your real email and ask a few questions, then build a personal profile and a drafter that writes the way you do. About fifteen minutes, once.

Those two feed the daily one
The profile says who matters to you and the drafter says how you write. Inbox triage reads both, so urgent means urgent for you, not for everyone.

Then it runs every day
Triage reads the window since you last looked, checks your sent folder so nothing already handled gets flagged, and sorts the rest. Ask any time, or let it run each morning.
What is an AI skill?
A skill is a folder of plain-text instructions that teaches an AI assistant like Claude or ChatGPT how to do one job well inside your own account. There is no app to install, and you can read every line before you switch it on.
The assistant already knows how to read and write; the skill tells it what to read, what to produce, and what it must never touch. The instructions are plain text under an MIT licence, so you can read and change any of it.

What is an AI skill?

Do skills work with ChatGPT as well as Claude?
Yes. The instructions are plain text that either assistant can follow, and each skill page lists what it works with, including the mail providers the inbox family reads.
Is my data safe?
Skills run inside your own account and read only what you point them at. The inbox skills are read-only: nothing is sent, no thread is changed, and OpenKit never sees your data.
What do skills cost?
Nothing. Every skill is free under the MIT licence, works on the free plans of the assistants, and is yours to modify.
