AI charter, adopted company-wide

House of Hackney sells work that is done by hand, and they wanted the rules settled before buying any tool. We started by finding out how AI was already being used across all ten departments, and the charter, the approved-tools register and the training all came out of what that audit found.

Discovery sprint and pilot blueprint

An independent London estate agency was running five admin workflows on a CRM whose public API had no write endpoints for the actions an admin actually does. We measured the admin, designed an agent around the constraint we found, and came back a year later to overturn our own conclusion when the constraint had moved.

The London Borough of Hackney issued the tender on behalf of a four-borough partnership with the City of London, Tower Hamlets and Newham, for a service aimed at the places where high pollution and high deprivation overlap. Kensington and Chelsea joined in 2026, and the service now runs across five boroughs.
